THE HE-RO PROJECT CIC
Focus. Flow. Perform
We help children, young people and adults develop mental skills through creativity, movement, play and performance psychology.
What elite performers receive shouldn’t be reserved for the elite.
He-Ro exists to provide high-quality mental skills support and education that is human, inclusive, and sustainable — locally and globally.
All He-Ro services operate on a donation-based model, helping us keep mental skills support accessible while allowing those who can to support others. You can donate using the button below.

Mental Skills Coaching
One-to-one and small-group coaching for adults and young people, grounded in sport psychology principles.
We support individuals, teams and organisations to develop focus, resilience, confidence, identity and performance-wellbeing balance.
Why The He-Ro Project exists
Mental skills are rarely taught — yet they underpin how we cope, perform, connect and grow.
Too often, support is reactive, expensive, or only available to high performers. Many young people are left feeling bored, disengaged, or under pressure, with few accessible spaces to acquire life skills. This leads to adults who feel the same way and lack the necessary coping mechanisms to be able to thrive in a challenging world.
The He-Ro Project was created to change that. We work with adults and young people to deliver mental skills in a variety of ways, through evidence-based practice rooted in psychology. With extensive experience in Sport, Education, and Performance, we are well-equipped to do this.
We believe mental skills should be:
taught early
practised regularly
embedded in everyday experiences
accessible to everyone
